The program has collaborated with 10 early implementer sites to effectively enhance staffing levels and disseminate knowledge through the newly established Alcohol Care Team Innovation and Optimisation Network (ACTION). We are currently in the process of expanding ACTs to an additional 25 hospital sites throughout England, concentrating on areas with the highest demand. By the conclusion of summer 2022, 22 sites were operational with an appropriate mix of personnel.
