Connecting with others who understand your situation can be beneficial. Your GP can provide information about local support groups for those affected by someone else’s drug use. Additionally, there are organisations that offer helplines and local support groups for individuals living with someone who uses drugs.

Families Anonymous
Families Anonymous operates on principles similar to those of Alcoholics Anonymous. It hosts support meetings for the family and friends of individuals with drug problems.
SMART Recovery
SMART Recovery is a charity that offers programs for recovery from addiction.
